Developing a downtown park comes with a 350-thousand dollar price tag for the High River Rotary Club.

Member Jim Ross says the fundraising efforts are massive.

"We've had some provincial grant money, we've had some significant amount of money raised directly by our members and donations from the community are also very important to us. Any businesses or individuals in the community who would like to support the park are invited to contact a rotarian."

Ross says the park, which stretches from the museum to 7th avenue south of the train tracks, should be ready by fall 2007.
