A shocker in high school football over the weekend as the powerhouse Foothills Falcons fell 25-22 to the Rundle College Cobras in the Big Rock Football League final Friday night in Okotoks.

The season's not over for the Falcons though as they'll take on George McDougal this week in a Provincial qualifier.

The Highwood Mustangs lost their exhibition to Canmore Friday.

They battle Bow Valley for a spot in Provincials this Friday in Cochrane.

And the Willow Creek Cobras get back to work this week as they host Pincher Creek in the first round of playoffs.

In the bantam ranks, the season came to an end for the Okotoks Bantam Eagles as they lost 24-20 in the semi-finals to the Calgary Stampeders.
