Local Ladies Golf for a Good Cause
The Foothills Advocacy in Motion Society is holding a 9-hole ladies golf tournament Wednesday September 20th at the Crystal Ridge Golf Club in Okotoks.
Tickets include a banquet and silent auction, as well as a fashion show featuring clothes from Pekisko Trading Company, Hidden Charm Boutique, Snowflakes and Blossoms, and Ginger Laurier.
Executive Director Vince Kimura says it's not too late to sign up.
"I have thirteen of the sixteen spots reserved already, so I have openings for just three more teams, and we may push it to eighteen if interest is high enough."
The tournament will raise money to support Foothills residents with developmental disabilities.
