Busy weekend in high school football as the regular season came to an end.
In Okotoks, the Foothills Falcons beat the Rundle College Cobras Convincingly, 29-0 Friday, October 14 in their "Black Out" game.
Coach Darren Olson says his team ran the ball well in the win.
"That's going to be a strength for us going forward in the playoffs is running the ball. So, it's a positive for us tonight for sure."
The Falcons play the Highwood Mustangs in the Big Rock Football League semi-finals Thursday, October 20 in Okotoks.
The Mustangs fell 32-0 in Canmore Friday to end their regular season winless.
And the Willow Creek Cobras were shut-out 10-0 by the W.R. Meyers Rebels in Taber Friday.
They finish the season this weekend against Cardston on Friday, October 21.
