No luck for the Highwood Mustangs Senior or Junior Varsity girls volleyball squads Monday, November 4, in Okotoks.

At the Comp, the Mustangs JV girls fell three games to none to the Falcons in the Big Rock League semi-finals.

At Holy Trinity the Senior girls lost in straight sets as well.

That means the Falcons and Knights both move onto their respective league finals.

And the Foothills Falcons Senior girls needed five sets, but they managed to get by the Strathcona-Tweedsmuir Spartans three games to two.

The season's not done for the Mustangs though.

They may be out of the league finals, but Provincials are right around the corner as they'll take part in the Southern Alberta Zone playoffs Friday, November 15 and Saturday, November 16.
