While high school graduation looked a lot different this year, Notre Dame Collegiate still made sure they handed out scholarships.

Jodi DeKlerk from NDC says they ended up choosing two valedictorians because their percentages were so close.

"They represent the mission of our school, and so when we look at the mission we want to make sure they are well rounded for each pillar."

Faith, excellence in academics, extracurricular and service to the community are the "pillars" when looking for their valedictorian.

"The two students Mya George and Cade Baldwin are our two valedictorians, both have served our community in many ways this year.  They both are heavily involved in our programs.  Mya was instrumental in our 'Me to We program', she was one of the main leaders for the 'We Scare Hunger' and the 'We Walk for Wate'r campaign and for the new 'We Speak Up Program' which is about speaking about bringing awareness to mental health. While Cade was involved with lots of our sports programs. He coached, he is an active player, he has won a lot of our sports awards."

DeKlerk says there were also a few other scholarships this year.
