The Okotoks Oilers Jr A Hockey Club starts their training camp today.

The team this year is a bit younger than last year but General Manager and Coach Gary VanHereweghe says they are also a bit more skilled and faster.

"I think we're going to be really deep in both the forward position and the defensive position. Having Brad Eyesness returning to us, a good young affiliate from last year in goal certainly gives us a good starting point there."

The Oilers are also very excited about the new season in the new rink.
