Okotoks' Swindell's leisure pool is remaining closed for the time being.
On Friday (Nov. 17), the town announced that the rec centre's leisure pool had been closed until further notice due to routine sample testing of the water showing a higher heterotrophic plate count than is acceptable by AHS standards.
The town has already sent a new sample in for testing after working to correct the issue, though they're still awaiting results.
Unaffected by the closure were the Riley Minue pool, hot tub, and sauna, which are all still open as usual.
