Families flocked to Turner Valley right after the Diamond Valley parade in Black Diamond on Saturday afternoon.

Peace Officers conducted traffic at the famous 4-way stop in town helping with the congestion.

It was also much easier for families to get on Highway 22 out of Black Diamond since the parade route was changed this year.

It seemed to make the short 2 km commute much easier to navigate for everyone.

The bouncy houses were a big hit with the kids along with face painting and the petting zoo.

There was also something new this year with the Foothills Archery Club offering kids a chance to shoot a bow on targets in the ball diamond.

And the dunk tank fundraiser for Oilfields High School was also a bit hit.
