Plenty of local talent is up for grabs as the Western Hockey League holds its annual Bantam Draft on Thursday.

Some of the players on the radar include a handful of locals who represented the Foothills on Team South in the ATB Alberta Cup this past weekend.

Strathmore natives Joel Krahenbil, Cole Clayton and Lucas Meunchrath, along with Okotoks' Jackson Salt, Millarvilles Zach Huber, and Caresland's Tyler Strath are just a few of the names that could be called in the draft.

The draft starts at 8:30 a.m. Thursday in Calgary.
