Snaps for the Okotoks S.N.A.P.S!

Today, Jenna had the cruiser out at the Okotoks S.N.A.P.S (Special Needs Association for Parents & Siblings) Father's Day Walk, Roll, and Run at Ethel Tucker Park. Orvella Small said this was the first fundraiser of its kind for the organization and they plan on making it an annual event.

S.N.A.P.S is an association supporting those with special needs as well as their families. Seven years ago, the organization moved from High River to Okotoks to expand and now assists over 450 families within the MD of Foothills down to Claresholm.

This year, runners' pledges alone raised over $2,000 and MLA, Danielle Smith, as well as councellor, Stephan Clarke, were in attendance, serving up BBQ lunch and participating in a number of activities in the park.
