Some local golf courses have already opened up their driving ranges and are now just getting ready for the weather to improve before they courses open.

All course openings are weather dependent and with an expected high of only 4 this Friday it could be a brisk start to the season.

The Nanton Golf Course plans on opening this Friday afternoon and already taking bookings. They opened up the driving range last week.

The crew at Crystal Ridge in Okotoks is also set to open their course Friday morning.

D'Arcy Ranch golf course is looking at this Saturday, April 22 to open the course. Their driving range is already open.

The Highwood golf club and the Turner Valley golf club are looking at opening on Friday, April 28. The driving range for Highwood is already open and the driving range at Turner Valley Golf opens this Wednesday.
