Supporting Communities

Hey everyone!

Last night was the Stavely Community Ball Game to kick off the town's 100th anniversary. They had lots of members of the town out enjoying the game and lots of families were there watching as well. Mayor Barry Johnson was there too helping to cook and serving hamburgers and hot dogs. Stavely will also being having a big fireworks display in August to celebrate it's centennial.

Today was Canadian Tire's Jump Start day where money raised goes toward getting kids involed in recreational activities and sports by covering the cost of equipment, registration, and transportation. From 11-3 the Canadian Tire in Okotoks was serving up hotdogs and also had a garage sale and games for the kids. Lots of people checked out the garage sale and stopped by for some food. It was a great day supporting an awesome cause!
