Expect High River councillors to have their hands full at their regularly scheduled meeting Monday afternoon.

They'll hear from members of the Shepard Family Park Society who want to build a replica storage shed to house a donation of blacksmithing tools.

AI Dickie of Black Diamond has made an offer to donate blacksmith equipment and tools to the society. The sole condition tied to the donation is for the society to dedicate a space to house and display the blacksmith equipment and tools. There being no suitable place at the park, society proposes to build a detached building, 12 by 10 feet in dimension and similar in architecture to the existing workshop at the park.

They also want to erect an old windmill at the site near the Monroe barn.

There's also a planned presentation from the High River Centennial Library about a proposed $730,000 expansion to the east side of the building.

And don't be surprised if you soon see yellow fish start to pop up on street corners around the town.

Brownies and Sparks will be at council to explain and seek permission for the program.

The council meeting starts at 1p.m. Monday May 28, 2012.
