March 26th and I think we have finally seen the break in all of that cold that March started

with and frankly I am ok with that how about you?  I think people were getting cranky with 

the weather or should I say the weather was making the people cranky?  With the nicer 

weather in the next few weeks things will start going green and I think that's ok by me.

 

The Okotoks Oilers will be in the biggest battle of the year beginning Friday in Brooks as

they set off to upset the Number 1 team in the nation in The South Division Final of The Alberta

Junior Hockey League.  Canmore managed one victory in their battle with Brooks but The Oilers

despite a very successful year will have their hands full of The Bandits in Brooks Friday and Saturday.

The South final switches back to Okotoks on Monday.  If you come to the game next week The AM 

1140 crew will be selling 50/50 tickets for a local charity so watch out for me.
