"This and That"

Calgary has voted and they say NO to the Olympics, I thought the YES vote may take it 

yesterday based on all of the fun people had back in 88.  With the stories of The Olympics

being a money grab and other negative thoughts out there I guess the YES vote had their

backs against the wall so to speak.  Now the big question to Calgarians in this unstable

economy will be can we build a rink to host a bunch of spoiled athletes who make hundreds of

thousands of dollars every year?  I am kidding but it will be a question, is there money out there

and sponsorship to support a new rink?

Jaden Holle is basking in the Sun of her new title Miss Rodeo Canada and we are so happy for this

lovely young lady whose parents I talked to last night.  The Holle's are so proud of their daughter and

you can see it in their eyes.  Congratulations to Jaden, what an accomplishment.

The Flyers lost a couple of games on the weekend and are back at the Bob Snodgrass Rec Plex

Friday to turn it all around with the puck drop at 8 o'clock.  The opposition is Cochrane,  Win or

lose Junior B hockey in town is great for the community.
