The Town of Okotoks wants to hear what you think of the urban deer population.

They've launched a survey to see what kind of interactions locals are having with them and if they're causing harm to local yards.

Among the questions asked are how safe you feel around deer, if you've used deterrents, and which deterrents have been successful.

They also ask about a deer aversion program that was presented to council late last year.

Their goal is to incorporate residents' responses into the town's urban deer strategy moving forward, as the town considers ways to minimize deer conflict.

The last time the town held a survey on local deer was in 2018, and since then they've implemented a few programs and strategies.

The survey is available until Sunday, Feb. 19.

It can be found here.
