A couple of impaired drivers were recently removed from the road by Turner Valley RCMP in the span of a week.

The detachment provided details in their latest Mountie Moments newsletter.

On Jan. 25, officers responded to reports of an erratic driver.

The driver was removed from the road with an Immediate Roadside Sanction (IRS) suspension, and their vehicle was seized.

Days later on Feb. 1, RCMP received a report about an intoxicated driver who'd driven into a ditch.

Officers responded, resulting in another IRS sanction suspension, and an impounded vehicle.

Also highlighted in the latest Mountie Moments were a phone fraud involving someone to be a bank representative, a scam targetting farmers involving a fraudulent company hired to move hay, and two break-and-enters in the eastern portion of Foothills County.
