A fatal collision north of High River on Friday afternoon claimed the lives of two people, with another in serious condition.
The two-vehicle happened on Highway 2A between 434 Avenue (Township Road 200) and 466 Avenue at around 3:15 p.m.
Two people were declared deceased at the scene, confirmed an EMS spokesperson.
STARS Air Ambulance was dispatched at 3:27 p.m. and airlifted one person to hospital in serious but none life-threatening condition.
An RCMP collision analyst is currently on site and the area is expected to remain closed for several hours.
