Whoa....I had a good cry this monring and I sure didn't see it coming.

Joceyln Hastie from High River Toastmasters was in studio and shared her award winning speech from last year.

It's titled 'Unexpected Blessings' and it's one incredible story about a lady and her horse that were meant for one another.

Jocelyn had a horse named 'Colorado'.

Now, her and Colorado had a special relationship from the time of his birth.

He was tough to handle but through love they both managed to reach heights in competition neither saw coming.

And once the competitive years wrapped up Colorado found there was another 'career' out there...equine therapy.

Now here's the ironic twist which just floored me.

Jocelyn was diagnosed and treated with stage 4 tongue cancer in 2014 and Colorado was right there for her....and then Colorado was diagnosed with the same cancer.

Can you imagine?

Then it was time for Jocelyn to look after Colorado.

Colorado made it through Joceyln's treatments until she was okay and then Colorado's time was up.

That is one tough story to hear.

If you've ever had a horse or dog that you've had that special bond with I'm sure you can imagine why the waterworks would be set off.

One incredible story indeed and I'm so thankful to Jocelyn for sharing it with you and I.
