Spring has sprung and the moon today at 5am as I was coming to work

was spectacular.  The day will be warm which is a sign great weather is

close, can you feel it?  Friday in to Saturday is calling for rain and snow

but we know where we live and can't really be to surprised right?

If you are a hockey fan you have to be impressed with the new coach

and a Calgary Flames team that doesn't seem to want to give up the

play off home ice advantage.  They fell to Winnipeg on the weekend

but turned it around against Columbus at the Dome last night after a slow

start.  The young goalie seems to have found his game, I guess that's

why Flames fans call him Big Save Dave.  Smitty is still there and if

needed had been playing better of late as well.  Could it be the year

the Flames have been waiting for?  Time will tell I guess.

I had the pleasure of announcing The High River Figure Skating Club

Carnival this past weekend.  The Show was titled The Wizard of Oz.

The day was a blast for me, hanging with the ladies in the booth and

watching the young ones perform.  My fav was the Munchkin skaters

who were the youngest of the groups and Mayor Of Munchkin Land

played by our MP John Barlow.  Congrats to all who made the Spring

Carnival a success, I was proud to be a part of it in a small way
