A surprising upset in game one of the Alberta Midget Hockey League finals as the Leduc Oil Kings handed the heavily favoured CFR "AAA" Midget Bisons a 3-1 loss in the series opener Sunday, March 19, in Strathmore.

The overtime hero against the Calgary Buffaloes, Brandon Machado, was the lone goal scorer for the Bisons in the loss.

They'll try to rebound and even the series up in game two Wednesday, March 22 in Leduc.
