The High River Flyers had a battle on their hands last night as they took on the Coaldale Copperheads at the Rec-Plex in game two of their best of five Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League playoffs.

The Flyers came out with a much needed win as they hung on for a 5 to 4 victory.

They jumped out to a 4 to 0 lead in the first period, adding one more in the third.

The Copperheads added a single in the second period and three in the third but it wasn't enough to take the lead.

Singles from Evan Pakkala, Connor Taylor, Michael McTighe, and two from Davis Sheldon ensured the win.

The team is back in Coaldale tonight at 8:30 p.m. for game three of the best of five series.
