On December 15 in the Alberta Junior Hockey League, the Okotoks Oilers chalked up another win in the Pason Centennial Arena in their nail biting pairing against the Fort McMurray Oil Barons.

The final score of the game was a 3-2 win for the Oilers, who win the decision in a shootout.

The Oilers laid on the offense strong in the first period, shooting two pucks in the Barons net, courtesy of #11 Quinn Olson and #25 rookie Jack Works.

With no further goals by any team in the second period, the Barons caught their second wind in the third period, scoring two goals of their own.

The game went into a shootout and #22 Blake Wells finally won it for the Oilers.

The Okotoks club are back on their home ice on December 16, to round out their weekend.

They'll be hosting the Lloydminster Bobcats, who find themselves at the bottom of the North Division standings.
