It's last call for the Lancaster Bomber at the Bomber Command Museum in Nanton Friday Sept 16 as they'll fire it up for one last night run of the season.

Director Karl Kjarsgaard says you won't want to miss it.

"We start the Lancaster in the dark and we have everything pitch black and it would be just like a Lancaster starting up in World War 2."

He says then they'll fire up the engines and about halfway through the demonstration they light up the aircraft with huge spotlights.

He says it's a sight to behold and adds it's a wonderful and fitting tribute to those that flew the aircraft during the war.

The last night run goes at 9pm.
