Monday's school bus crash South of High River has the province renewing calls to make seat belts on school buses mandatory.

Provincial Transportation Minister Brian Mason says they are going to give it a serious look.

"Yes, we are. You know the existing wisdom and with respect to that and the study that Transport Canada has based it's current policy on. It needs to be reviewed. There has been a federal task force that has been established, including the provinces to examine that."

The crash sent three people to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
