Overall, the Foothills fared pretty well in Wednesday's Spring storm that saw high winds and about 10 millimetres of rain.

There's some clean-up to do of the leaves and tree branches that came down in the wind, and the High River Fire Department had to deal with a minor gas leak in a northeast condo complex.

They and ATCO Gas had it resolved quickly with no danger to residents.

Firefighters had to brave the wind and rain to check out a minor gas leak in northeast High River.

North of the City didn't fare as well with power outages reported all the way to Edmonton, and RCMP warning drivers to stay off the roads because of the high winds.
