The High River and District Health Care Foundation is hosting their first ever "Stroller-A-Thon" this March at the Crescent Point Field House in Aldersyde.

Foundation Chair Cathy Couey says it's a fundraiser for the hospital's maternity ward and will feature a vendors market aimed at new and soon to be mom's.

"As part of the Family Market, we want to have displays there with unique kind of retail opportunity and services for families throughout the Foothills. We have a number of people already involved and looking to grow the family market a little bit. There'll also be the family playground and that will have activities from toddlers up to teenagers."

The event goes Sunday, March 25, with those donating $100 or more eligible for a prize package worth $500.
