Despite the best efforts of Town crews over the holidays plenty of the Towns main roads are still pretty snowy.

The Towns Operations Manager, Eugene Lund, says they're keeping up on them as the weather warms up.

"The roads are beginning to soften up and then subsequently get quite slick with ice and that type of stuff. So, our main focus is to put down some salt and sand mix on the roads and intersections so people aren't having issues there."

Lund says they usually take graders to the main roads to completely clear them of snow and ice, but it could take a while to get to that.

In the meantime, he says the Town's also busy working on clearing the Happy Trails.

He says you can refer to the Towns snow removal policy on their website if you have any questions.
