An up and down end of the season for local chuckwagon drivers as the World Championships wrapped up in Red Deer Sunday night. High River's Jason Glass had the fastest time of the night at 1:21 and 97. But it was "The King" Kelly Sutherland who took the title. His 10th to be exact, with the fastest 4 days of racing. Sutherland's son Mark who now calls Okotoks home finished 8th overall. While Glass finished 10th. High River's Brian Mayan finished 17th in the aggregate. But it wasn't enough to keep him in the top 30 and forces him into the run-off in a couple of weeks in Bashaw. The drivers are in Medicine Hat this weekend to make up for the cancelled show their back in June.
