The inaugural High River Stampede Breakfast is coming.

The first annual event is hosted by Centered on Wellness in downtown High River.

There will be pancakes, syrup, and sausages along with carriage rides and Steele's Scouts Commemorative Troop will be bringing their horses too.

While the event is free any funds raised will go to a local non-profit organization and they've chosen Wild Rose Community Connections.

Executive Director Marianne Dixon is extremely grateful and excited.

"July 8th we are having our first annual Stampede breakfast. And this whole thing is being organized by Centered on Wellness. They are sponsoring this event and they have done an amazing job already of getting things lined up. So, Centered on Wellness has chosen Wild Rose Community Connections as the recipient of any proceeds that they get from this event. It's going to be big. It's going to be fantastic."

It runs from 9 a.m. until noon on Monday, July 8 in front of Centered on Wellness at 515 - 1st Street SW.
