The once seven-game series between the Carstar Okotoks Bisons and Sylvan Lake Wranglers has now essentially become a five-game series after they split the series1-1 and have a maximum of five games remaining.

With the Bisons' 4-2 loss on Sunday night (March 17), both Okotoks and Sylvan Lake have won their first home game of the Heritage Junior B (HJHL) finals, splitting the series one apiece.

Kaleb Schuller got his first goal of the post-season and Daniel Tainton would add to his collection of goals so far during the playoffs, but it would not be enough to get past the Wranglers.

The Bisons will look to get back on track after losing only their second game in the post-season.

The Herd will have a handful of days to rest and recover as they are hosting the Wranglers on Friday night (March 22) at Murray Arena.

Game three starts at 8:00.
