It was a wild night in Grande Prairie with wet and muddy track conditions.

In the first WPCA chuckwagon races of the season, the times were pretty fast, all things considered.

In a surprise, last year's Champion and hometown favourite Chance Vigen overturned his wagon in heat 10 resulting in a No-Time.

Heat 10 also featured High River's Jason Glass who ran fast and is sitting in 13th overall after one night.

It was Dayton Sutherland, though, that had the fastest local time on the night ending up in 8th overall.

Jordie Fike unfortunately ran into four seconds of penalty trouble leaving him in 35th out of 40 drivers.

The wagons run again tonight.
