The Dawgs bounced back from Sunday's defeat as they came up victorious in Sylvan Lake Wednesday night winning 7-2.

Solid pitching, impactful offense, and a game where the Dawgs allowed zero errors were key in tonight's victory.

The Dawgs improve to 8-2 on the season with the victory.

Logan Grant (Bellevue University, NE) went 4 for 5 in his season debut, helping the Dawgs secure the victory. Nash Crowell (Reinhardt University, GA) had an impactful game as the Dawgs' first baseman started the scoring in the second inning with a two-run double giving the Dawgs an early lead. Crowell would finish with 4 RBI in the contest. Trent Lenihan (UBC) also had a multi-hit game as he went 2-4 from the plate. Brock Townsend (Bellevue University, NE) went 2.2 innings tonight allowing 3 hits and striking out 5 Gulls tonight.

The Bullpen came in and stopped the hot bats of the Gulls as of late allowing only 2 runs on 8 hits and striking out 9 to seal the win for the Dawgs.

The Dawgs are off to Fort McMurray to tangle with the Giants for the next 4 games, starting Thursday June 8th, opening pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm.
