Discovery Days kick off in Turner Valley and Black Diamond on Friday June 6th and run through to the 8th.
The third annual Pay and Stay... where you can pay a dollar a minute to have someone thrown in jail, starts and 9am and the sixth annual Diamond Valley Fun Run starts at 6 that night. Organizer, Hazel Martin says the event showcases the Turner Valley and Black Diamond area. She says the drive-in movie is always a popular event, but they are keeping the movie a secret until the showing.
