Three fire detachments were involved with a structure fire Thursday night.

Acting deputy chief of Okotoks Fire, Dave Hodges says the crews made quick work of a very involved fire.

"We got the call to a structure fire, crews arrived on scene and found a fully involved trailer with another trailer partially involved. They had a quick knockdown on the fire and we got assistance from Heritage Pointe Fire and Black Diamond Fire.

Commuters coming home on Hwy 7 could see the fire just off of Range Road 294A.

As of Thursday night Hodges said the crews were just working to ensure the fire was contained and remained out.

"The fire's contained so it's not going to go anywhere from here. But there's still lots of hot spots and that's the crews pulling apart the structures and putting out the remaining hot spots.

Hodges said it's too early in the investigation to know what the cause of the fire is.
