Red Deer is all hockey this weekend as the Alberta Cup takes over the city.

Over 100 Bantam hockey players from around the province will play in front of scouts, possible future coaches and their families to see who shines.

Scouts will be keeping an eye out for players who look like they could have a potential hockey career.

The Foothills community will be well represented with four players heading north.

Liam Watkins, Gavin Schmidt, Hayden Pakkala and Conyr Hellyer are all forwards who have been invited to the dance.

Okotoks Oilers Coach, Geoff Rollins will also be taking part in the festivities.

Hellyer is on the Alberta Green team, while Watkins, Schmidt and Pakkala will all play together on the Alberta Red team, coached by Rollins.
