No hockey for at least another couple of weeks for the Lomond Lakers of the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League.

General Manager, Brad Koch says this shutdown from the Province is just the latest wrench thrown into their season.

"You know what? I hate to say it, it's probably to be expected, we were expecting this. I didn't this expect this so soon, and I really hate to say it, but I'd say there's more to come. I think it's going to be more than two weeks we're waiting for."

The Lakers were scheduled to face the Okotoks Bisons in their next series starting Sunday, November 22, but it looks like the earliest they could get back on the ice would be Friday, November 27.
