Legion provides donation from poppy fund.
The High River hospital is a little richer thanks to the local branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
A cheque for $10,000 handed over Tuesday morning to the hospital development officer Cathy Couey.
Couey says the Legion has always been very supportive of the hospital.
She says the hospital would have the services they are fortunate enough to have without the support of groups like the legion.
The money is earmarked for new recliners and wheelchairs.
