Alberta's seen one of the lowest numbers of new infections of COVID-19 in almost two months as of Wednesday, May 20.

Just 19 people tested positive over the last 24 hours, however, one more person has died bringing that number up to 128.

5,637 Albertans have recovered from the disease, while 58 remain in hospital with seven in the ICU.

Overall there are 970 active cases in the province.

Locally, the High River region has 16 active cases, that's down from 25 on Tuesday, May 19.

Okotoks has nine, down from 17 the day before, while Black Diamond remains the same with three active cases.
