A new bus is on the way for the High River Hospital Foundation. Cathy Couey with the foundation says the community really got behind their annual Cattle and Grain Round-up fundraiser.
They raised 49-thousand dollars to finalize funding for a new bus to take long term residents on day trips.
The bus costs 110-thousand dollars.
The foundation purchases a pen of cattle in the fall, they're managed by a member of the Chinook Country Cattlemen and then bought by Cargill in spring.
Proceeds then go to the Hospital Foundation.
