The CPKC Holiday train is coming back again this year to Vulcan and the festivities will be held in a new location.

It's the first time in four years the Canadian Pacific-Kansas City Holiday train will visit our region.

The train will be bringing along top Canadian musicians Tyler Shaw and Kiesza and will be making stops in Okotoks and Blackie before stopping in Vulcan.

While the concert and entertainment are free a non-perishable food item is always appreciated.

The Vulcan Regional Food Bank Society will be on hand collecting the donations.

The holiday train has taken in over 5 million pounds of food over the last 24 years.

Look for the train at the new location at the Vulcan Solar Park on 1st Ave. and 2nd St. South.

It's expected to arrive at 3:15 p.m. but you'll want to be there early for free hot chocolate, popcorn and you can warm yourself by a fire too.

Hopefully everyone is on their best behaviour as Santa Claus might even make a special appearance.
