The BCHL Okotoks Oilers game against the Brooks Bandits that was scheduled for Saturday night in Brooks was postponed to Sunday afternoon due to the weather.

It didn't help out the Oilers though as they ended up losing 7-4 to the Bandits.

The Bandits got off to a hot start and were leading 3-0 after the first period before the Oilers would respond.

Rylan Brown and Jack Silverberg scored for the green and gold and the second period ended with the Bandits up 4-2.

The Bandits would add another three goals in the third to take a 7-2 lead with Oilers Brett Wilson and Thomas Matte added a few more to finish the game with a 7-4 final.

However, the Oilers did have a huge 4-3 overtime win in front of hometown fans on Friday night.

The Oilers now don't play until Friday when they welcome the Brooks Bandits in town for a rematch at the Centennial arena.
