Special Olympics Foothills is hosting a bowling tournament this Saturday, March 16.
Four other teams have been invited including Drumheller, Bow Valley, Airdrie, and Lethbridge.
Angie Brown, local amateur weather forecaster, also plays for the Special Olympics Foothills team and is really stoked for it.
"Yes, I am and quite a few of my friends are also."
She also says it's a great social event too.
"You get to make friends, see your old ones of course, just really awesome. Also, a big thing... it's great exercise."
