Monday's 25-20 win over the Toronto Argonauts was a costly one for the Calgary Stampeders offensive line.

They lost left tackle Edwin Harrison with a broken ankle.

He's out for the season.

Right tackle Dan Federkeil is out 6-to-8 weeks with a lower leg injury, while Canadian slotback Simon Charbonneau-Campeau is also likely done for the year with a broken leg.

The Stamps first round draft pick in o-lineman Karl Lavoie and American veteran Brander Craighead are also both out with injuries suffered in training camp.

The Stamps do have a trio of linemen in camp in former University of Calgary Dino Paul Swiston, Garry Williams, who has NFL experience and Andre Ramsey, who started seven games at tackle for the B.C. Lions.

Spencer Wilson will be the "go to guy" for the Stamps as he's played just about every position on the line.

The Stamps had to turn to defensive lineman Quinn Smith to bail them out Monday.

He did well, but the Stamps couldn't move the ball much in the second half of Monday's win, outside of a clock draining drive in the dying seconds of the game that led to a a field goal to seal the deal.

Meanwhile, the Stamps have precious little time to shore up the suddenly sparse offensive line as they host the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Saturday in a battle for first spot in the CFL's Western Division.
