The Okotoks Bisons are ready to defend their Heritage B Junior Hockey League championship starting tonight at 8 p.m.

They go head-to-head against the Sylvan Lake Wranglers, the winners of the north division.

The Bisons charged through the regular season with 35 wins and only 3 losses.

And the Herd have yet to lose a game in the playoffs too and have a perfect 8-0 record.

The Bisons hold the upper hand in the regular season battles against the northern division team.

They only played against each other twice and the Bisons beat them both times with scores of 4-3 and 4-1.

The Bisons cruise into the series without a loss while it took the Wranglers six games to make it out of round two.

And with it being a best-of-five series the games bounce back and forth between Okotoks and Sylvan Lake.
