For the second time in three weeks "Lightning" Luke Tournier is the big winner on the WPCA tour.

He took the dash for cash Sunday night in Dawson Creek to take the "Battle of the North" title.

He says working through combinations of his horses was the key to the win.

"I've got two awesome wheel teams. I've got a short barrel wheel team that are just unbelievable. This wheel team I just put together in Bonnyville and they've been working great, so I didn't have any trouble with horsepower. I rotated through the wheel teams so everything was pretty fresh."

High River's Jordie Fike had a good end to the week finishing fifth Sunday night.

Okotoks Mark Sutherland was sixth.

High River's Jason Glass wrapped up a tough week with a 25th place finish on the final night.

The wagons kick off the last race of the season Wednesday in Rocky Mountain House.
