This time of year always throws a wrench into everyone's schedule, one way or another.

With Christmas happening next week, it's important to know what town services will be available, and when.

In Okotoks, the Municipal Centre, Operations Centre, and Fire Station No.1 will be closed on December 25, 26, 27, and January 1.

RCMP and Municipal Enforcement offices will be closed on December 25, 26, 27, and January 1.

The Okotoks Eco Centre will be closed December 23-26, with them working regular hours from December 27 onwards.

There will be no disruptions to the garbage collection schedule in Okotoks this year.

People wishing to work out over the holidays won't be able to visit the Okotoks Recreation Centre and Natural High on December 25, 26, and January 1, because the Rec Centre will be closed those days.

Centennial Arena will be closed to the public December 24-26 and January 1, but the Foothills Centennial Centre will be open for any bookings they have scheduled.

Both the Okotoks Art Gallery and the Okotoks Museum & Archives will be closed from December 23 to January 9.

For the bookworms out there, the Okotoks Public Library will be closed from December 24-26 and January 1.

They will also have reduced hours throughout the week, so make sure you check their website before you head over.

The Okotoks Family Resource Centre will be closed from December 25-29.

While the RCMP and Fire Services offices will be closed, there will no disruptions to emergency services and 9-1-1.

The Okotoks Food Bank will be closed from December 25 to January 1, but for those who do find themselves in need of food during that time, the Food Bank won't let you go without.

They will put together emergency hampers for anyone who calls. Their number is 587-585-1753.
