Just a few more construction projects and then things should be all better in downtown High River.

But a week long road closure could cause a few driving headaches next week.

Shawne Excavating and Trucking will be completing a sanitary installation that will close Macleod Trail between 4th and 3rd Ave. S.W.

Construction crews will be busy from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. starting Monday, April 10 until the project finishes on Saturday, April 15.

Work crews will be on scene directing and detouring traffic and parking will be limited in the area.

The Town says almost two years worth of work was completed in 2016, leaving just a few key pieces to be finished in the coming weeks, with the goal of completing everything by the end of June.

Construction will be spread throughout the downtown, but will be on a much smaller scale, and a shorter time line than in previous years.
