The CFR "AAA" Midget Bisons and the Calgary Midget Flames will meet in the Alberta Midget Hockey League South Division finals.

The Bisons punched their ticket with a 5-0 win over the Optimist Chiefs Tuesday night in Red Deer to win the best of five semi-final series three games to one.

A great piece of work from Bisons goaltender Hunter Virostek as turned aside 60 shots for his first shut-out of the post season.

Kyle Gordon had a goal and an assist in the win, while Tyler Petrie, Tyson Scott, Gary Haden and Cole Reinhardt were the other Bisons goal scorers.

The Flames earned their way to the final as they got past the Calgary Northstars 6-5 in overtime to win that series in four games.

No schedule's been released yet, but it will start this weekend in Calgary, as the Flames finished with the same number of points, but one more win, which gave them top spot in the South Division.
